South Moravia


South Moravia is divided into a total of four units, called Central Moravia, Moravian karst and Brno, Lednice-Valtice and Podyjí and the last unit is known Slovácko. North of Brno is the Moravian Karst is one of the best known and most important karst area in Central Europe. In the Moravian Karst can see more than 1000 caves. Slovakia

This area is located southeast of Brno and between the area Chřiby and massif of the White Carpathians. Moravian karst and Brno

Drahan Highlands is part of the Moravian Karst. These two natural features are located to the north of the city. Moravian Karst is one of the most important karst areas in Central Europe. Lednice-Valtice and Dyje

It is the most southern part of South Moravia, near the border with Austria. Thanks to the preservation of the original landscape in the area there are lots of very rare animals and plants that are part of the hills Pálava, which is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
