Opening hours in Czech shops are miscellaneous, but generally from 9.00 till 18.00 on working days and from 9.00 till 13.00 on Saturday. Many of shops are opened even on Sunday and their number increases. Credits cards are accepted above all in hotels, restaurants and shopping centres. It is possible to pay with credit cards Eurocard/Mastercard, American Express, VISA, Dinner´s Club, Japan Credit Bureau, Acces and Carte Blanche.

Banks

Opening hours of banks is similar to opening hours of shops, so from 8.00 till 18.00 on working days. Exchange of money is also possible in Exchange offices placed in hotels, petrol stations, travel agencies, shopping centres.

Pharmacies

Generally are pharmacies opened like shops, but there are also non-stop pharmacies.

There are card and coin phone boxes in every village and town. They are available in the post, shops or newsdealers.
